Legacy in foods
YOVOMA version of foods
- Yavoma - Idly mix
- Yavoma - Dosa mix
- Yavoma - Chapati mix
These products were developed in 2008 and our doctors have been prescribing them for the treatment of diabetes mellitus, hypertension, overweight, pcod, high cholesterol, etc. from 2012 onwards. The YAVOMA version of products is used only for treatment, not for daily use, and sold directly to the patients as per the prescription of doctors. We have given treatment to more than 5000 satisfied customers in Bangalore alone. We have continued the research to make these products affordable and tastier.
YOVOMA - D version of foods
Through continuous research, in 2023 we have developed tasty, affordable, and daily usable products without losing the qualities
- Yavoma - D Dosa mix
- Yavoma - D Chapati mix
The YAVOMA – D version of products is meant for daily use. From these products, we can prepare tasty items like normal idly, dosa, chapati, meals, curd rice, fried rice, pulao, Pongal, etc. These products are rich in beta-glucan fiber. By using beta-glucan-rich food daily, diabetics can reduce blood sugar and high BP, Overweight or obese people can reduce their body weight and cholesterol slowly. These products are developed by YAVAM. Yavam is a variety of Barley that contains more Beta-glucan soluble and insoluble fiber than ordinary barley. Yavam is the richest source of Beta-glucan soluble and insoluble fiber among all grains. The beta-glucan is responsible for reducing blood sugar, high BP, overweight, and reducing high cholesterol. Innumerable researches all over the world have proven this fact.
YAVOMA – D Semi Cooked Fozen Rice
Rice is boiled in the decoction of herbs like Indian gooseberry fruit, Garcinia cambogia fruit, Curcuma longa rhizome, and Coconut. Then it becomes brown with a smell. To avoid the smell and color and make it tasty like normal rice, we decolorize and deodorize it by using natural methods without using any chemicals. Now the rice is tasty like normal rice; the only difference is in color. A pale yellow color will be left, just like the color of lemon rice. We do not use preservatives instead we use the freezing method. After deodorizing and decolorizing, immediately the rice is shifted to a deep freezer and froze at minus 29 degrees Celsius. This rice is rich in resistant starch. Resistant starch has a lot of health benefits. Resistant starch functions like fiber, it will not digest in the small intestine, and as a result, more carbohydrates will not be absorbed and enter as glucose into the bloodstream. So, in diabetics blood sugar will not increase much more and diabetics can enjoy the rice without the fear of rising blood sugar much more. Overweight, High cholesterol and High BP will be reduced slowly when they use the resistant starch-rich rice along with beta glucan-rich YAVOMA – D products. Resistant starch feeds good microbiomes (good bacteria, fungi, and viruses in our gut). Then the volume and diversity of good microbiomes will be multiplied very fast resulting in good – gut health. Good gut health is necessary for the overall health of a person. Poor gut health can lead to many health issues like poor digestion, IBD (Inflammatory bowel disease), overweight, diabetes mellitus, high BP, acidity, Piles, hair fall, cardiovascular diseases, and poor immunity
Resistant Starch / Good Microbiomes / Gut Health
Resistant starch will not be digested in the small intestine, it passes to the large intestine and feeds the good microbiomes (colonies of good bacteria and other microorganisms). This resulted in the rapid development of good microbiomes in the gut. Good microbiomes play an important role in our gut health which is necessary for entire body health including brain functions, Liver functions, immunity, regulating appetite, regulating blood sugar, synthesizing enzymes, synthesizing vitamins, reducing inflammation, controlling pathogens, increasing mineral bioavailability, synthesizing neurotransmitters, and regulating hormone metabolism. In addition to these benefits, there are other health benefits also. Good microbiomes are used in the treatment of psoriasis and hair fall. Researches show that if you can improve your good microbiota it helps to reduce hair fall by influencing the scalp microbiome. From this, we can understand the importance of good microbiomes and the health of the gut. Nowadays people are consuming a lot of food items containing chemicals in the form of preservatives, stabilizers, emulsifiers, additives, artificial sweeteners, coloring agents, acidity regulators, etc. These food chemicals and the unnecessary use of antibiotics play a major role in the destruction of good microbiomes in the gut. When we consume food rich in resistant starch, within a few days volume of good microbiomes will be increased. This will result in regaining gut health.
Dybiosis
Dysbiosis is a condition where the diversity and volume of a good microbiome are reduced. As per modern research, dysbiosis leads to several digestive problems like cramping, diarrhea, constipation, bloating, indigestion, acidity, and in addition to that obesity, type 2 diabetes mellitus, inflammatory bowel disease, hair fall, piles, arthritis, sleep problems, and cardiovascular diseases.
ACIDITY AND GOOD MICROBIOMES
Researches show that good microbiomes can reduce acid reflux by balancing acid levels in the gut. Reduction in the volume of good microbiota can cause symptoms of gas or bloating, constipation, diarrhea, acid reflux or GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease), indigestion, and heartburn.
GOOD MICROBIOMES / HORMONE PRODUCTION AND REGULATION
Good microbiomes produce hormones and regulate the production of hormones by passing signals to the hormone-producing glands. Good microbiomes produce enzymes to break down food and produce micronutrients and vitamins including Vitamin K, Folic acid, Vitamin B3, Biotin, etc. In addition to that good microbiomes can produce the key micronutrients and vitamins themselves. Good microbiomes promote digestion and control the immune system and even brain functions. Good microbiomes help to avoid health issues like appendicitis.
GOOD MICROBIOMES / HAIR FALL / HAIR GROWTH
Good microbiomes produce enzymes to break down food and produce micronutrients including Vitamin K, Folic acid, Vitamin B3, Biotin, and other key vitamins, and regulate the immune system which are essential for the growth of hair. That is why when you consume food rich in resistant starch, hair fall will be reduced within 1 or 2 weeks. When the volume of good microbiomes increases, gut health also improves, a healthy gut absorbs nutrients such as iron, zinc, biotin, vitamins, minerals, and metals. Good microbiota in the gut help to improve scalp microbiomes and reduce inflammation on the scalp. All these actions play an important role in a healthy scalp and hair.
